Thoughtful Chocolate, From Origin to Craft
Sustainability begins with the chocolate itself. Across our bonbons, bars, and all other confections, we primarily work with high-quality couvertures from respected producers such as Valrhona and República del Cacao, with a small percentage from Cacao Barry when a specific flavour profile is required.
These chocolates are chosen for their consistency, depth, and expressive cacao profiles, forming the foundation of everything we create.
Origins That Matter
Founded in France in 1922, Valrhona is internationally respected for its technical precision and early leadership in single-origin couverture, emphasizing traceability, long-term grower relationships, and flavour expression rooted in origin.
República del Cacao was founded in Ecuador, one of the world’s most historically significant cacao-producing regions and the birthplace of Arriba Nacional cacao. The brand focuses on direct relationships with farming communities, biodiversity, and preserving the natural character of Ecuadorian cacao.
Together, these origins allow us to work with chocolates that treat cacao not as a commodity, but as a craft.

Both Valrhona and República del Cacao are Certified B Corporations, meeting rigorous standards for social responsibility, environmental stewardship, and transparency across their supply chains.
For us, this certification represents alignment rather than labels. It means working with partners who value people, planet, and long-term impact—supporting ethical labour practices, responsible agriculture, and sustainable business models that extend beyond the product itself.

These couvertures are paired with carefully selected natural ingredients to achieve balance, clarity, and refined flavour. Everything we make is thoughtfully handcrafted in small batches, allowing us to maintain precision, intention, and attention to detail that only small-scale production allows.
We also encourage reuse through our refill program, inviting customers to give our bonbon boxes a second life. Sustainability, for us, is an ongoing practice—shaped by care, restraint, and responsibility at every step of our craft.
